Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases. This role involves automating and streamlining our operations and processes, monitoring and managing infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration between various technologies.
Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and maintain efficient deployment pipelines.
– Implement automation tools and frameworks to optimize the software development lifecycle.
– Collaborate with team members to improve DevOps practices and procedures.
– Monitor system performance and implement necessary improvements.
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments.
– Ensure security protocols and best practices are followed.
– Document processes and procedures to maintain efficient operations.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
– 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
– Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell scripting.
– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
– Strong knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
– Professional certifications in DevOps, cloud technologies, or related areas are a plus.
– Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing DevOps practices in a production environment.
