Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, infrastructure automation, and cloud technology.
Responsibilities:
– Develop automation scripts and tools to improve deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes
– Work closely with development teams to ensure continuous integration and deployment of code
– Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, security, and availability
– Implement and manage cloud services and infrastructure
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
– Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps methodologies
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
– 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
– Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
– Strong background in Linux/Unix operating systems
– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
– Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
– Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate) is a plus
– Proven experience in managing and scaling cloud-based infrastructure
– Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab
