Job Overview
BestPeers is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with 3–6 years of experience to analyze complex datasets, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering and product teams to turn data into strategic value.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large, complex datasets to extract meaningful insights.
Build, train, and deploy machine learning and statistical models.
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
Design and conduct A/B tests and experiments.
Communicate findings through data visualizations and reports.
Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy.
Stay updated with the latest data science techniques and tools.
Required Skills
Strong programming skills in Python or R and proficiency in SQL.
Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and linear algebra.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques.
Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop.
Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
