Vismen IT Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data,
pipelines and ensuring the integrity and availability of data across various sources. This role involves’
close collaboration with data analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable
insights and support data-driven decision-making.
.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines
Perform data integration from various structured and unstructured sources
Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Work with cloud platforms and data storage systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Redshift)
Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards are met
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements
Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines for performance improvements
.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
0–4 years of experience in Data Engineering or related field
Strong proficiency in SQL and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java is a plus
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is advantageous
.Preferred Skills:
SQL optimization and performance tuning
Data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
Data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Glue)
Version control systems (e.g., Git)
Good communication and problem-solving skills
