Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Collection Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience to oversee our collection team. The Collection Manager will be responsible for managing and improving the debt collection process to ensure outstanding debts are collected efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement collection strategies to optimize debt recovery.
– Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate actions.
– Negotiate payment plans with debtors to facilitate timely repayments.
– Motivate and lead the collection team to meet performance targets.
– Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and report on progress.
– Coordinate with external agencies and legal teams when necessary.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
– Proven experience as a Collection Manager or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations.
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
– Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
– Proficient in using collection management software.
