Job Description

Job Title: Cashier
Location: Amaniganj, Ayodhya
Number of Positions: 2

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process customer transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and issue receipts.
Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.
Ensure correct change is given to customers and monitor the cash register throughout the shift.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and answering queries promptly.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
Process returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.
Assist with balancing cash registers at the end of the shift.
Stay updated on current promotions, discounts, and store policies.
Follow all company procedures for cash handling, security, and fraud prevention.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 2-5 years in a cashier or similar role in retail or hospitality.
Basic Math Skills: Strong ability to handle cash, give accurate change, and process payments.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately.
POS System Knowledge: Experience with using point-of-sale systems for transactions.
Organizational Skills: Ability to keep the work area tidy and organized while handling multiple tasks.
Honesty and Integrity: Ability to manage financial transactions with accuracy and trustworthiness.
Patience and Professionalism: Ability to stay calm under pressure, especially during busy hours.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹16,000 per month

Shift Timing: 10 hours per day
