Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Cash Officer to manage daily cash operations at our supermarket. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle daily cash collections, deposits, and withdrawals.
Maintain accurate cash records and reconcile cash balances at the end of each shift.
Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Accounts Department.
Assist in preparing accounting entries and ledgers related to cash transactions.
Verify and maintain invoices, receipts, and petty cash records.
Coordinate with the Store Manager and Accounts Executive for payment-related activities.
Ensure compliance with internal financial and audit policies.
Skills Required:
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.
Familiarity with POS systems or cash management software.
High level of accuracy and integrity.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary:
Up to ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
