Job Title: Billing Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Salary (CTC): ₹45,000 to ₹50,000 per Month
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Billing Engineer to manage and oversee project billing, cost estimation, and documentation in the HVAC industry. The ideal candidate should have expertise in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and contract management while ensuring compliance with company and project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and verify Running Account (RA) bills and final bills.
Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and ensure cost estimation.
Coordinate with site engineers for work progress and material quantities.
Conduct rate analysis for accurate project costing.
Assist in tendering and contract documentation.
Maintain proper records of billing-related documents.
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and project teams.
Ensure compliance with project timelines and cost control measures.
Skills Required:
The candidate should have strong expertise in BOQ preparation, billing, and estimation, ensuring accurate cost calculations for HVAC projects. A deep understanding of rate analysis and cost control techniques is essential to optimize project expenses. Proficiency in tendering and contract management will help in handling project-related agreements efficiently.
The role demands excellent project coordination skills to collaborate with site engineers, procurement teams, and finance departments. Strong knowledge of invoice verification and budgeting is crucial for smooth financial operations. Additionally, proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP software is preferred for accurate documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in HVAC, MEP, or construction projects.
