Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Industry: Electrical Equipment / Switchgear / Power Distribution
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
MBA in Marketing or Sales (preferred but not mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales and business development for electrical products such as switches, MCBs, and switchgear
Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and end-users
Prepare and present sales pitches, proposals, and product demonstrations
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets
Work closely with the sales head and senior leadership for market strategy execution
Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to refine sales approach
Prepare reports and maintain records of sales activities
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales of electrical products
Experience with companies like Havells, C&S, L&T, Siemens, BCH, HPL, or similar is preferred
Strong knowledge of switchgear products and electrical market dynamics
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Understanding of pricing, RFQ evaluation, and basic costing
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
