Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Purchase to join our procurement team. The candidate will be responsible for managing the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of materials and components necessary for smooth production operations. The role involves close coordination with vendors, internal departments, and management to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective procurement strategies
Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery terms
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, machinery, and components
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning
Maintain accurate purchase records in ERP systems
Ensure compliance with company policies and cost-efficiency goals
Identify and implement cost-saving measures in the procurement process
