Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.
Responsibilities:
– Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
– Work with outside data sources and APIs
– Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
– Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
– Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
– 2 years of experience in Android development
– Experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages
– Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
– Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
– Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
– Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
