Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year (Heavy Vehicle Driving Experience)
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹16,000 per month + Overtime
Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Heavy Vehicle / Ambulance Driver to join our team in Navrangpura, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a valid heavy vehicle driving license and a strong understanding of local routes. This position requires timely transportation of patients or medical equipment, adherence to traffic regulations, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive ambulances or other heavy vehicles to designated locations safely and efficiently
Transport patients, medical personnel, or equipment as required
Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
Assist medical staff during emergency transportation if needed
Maintain accurate trip and mileage records
Follow traffic rules and healthcare transport protocols strictly
Required Qualifications:
Valid heavy vehicle driving license (mandatory)
Minimum 1 year of experience in heavy vehicle or ambulance driving
Familiarity with Ahmedabad city routes and nearby areas
Good physical fitness and ability to work long or flexible hours
Calm and responsive in emergency situations
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of basic first-aid (preferred but not mandatory)
Professional and courteous attitude
Strong time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and in rotational shifts
