Job Title: Academic Counsellor
Salary Structure: Fixed Salary + Performance-Based Incentives

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Academic Counsellor to provide guidance and support to students in their academic pursuits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling, education, or a related field to assist students in navigating academic challenges and achieving their academic goals.

Responsibilities:
– Provide academic counseling to students on course selection, academic progress, and career planning
– Assist students in setting academic goals and developing plans to achieve them
– Conduct academic assessments to identify student needs and provide appropriate support
– Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and retention
– Stay informed about academic policies, procedures, and resources to guide students effectively
– Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress

Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– 2+ years of experience in academic counseling or related field
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of academic advising principles and practices
– Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office and student information systems

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in academic counseling or related field
