Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Academic Counselling Team Leader to oversee a team of academic counsellors and provide guidance and support to students seeking academic assistance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in academic counselling and a strong background in education.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage a team of academic counsellors
– Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to team members
– Assist students in setting and achieving academic goals
– Conduct individual counselling sessions to address academic concerns and provide support
– Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty members, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
– Develop and implement counselling programs and initiatives to support student retention and academic performance
– Keep abreast of best practices in academic counselling and incorporate new strategies as needed

Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic counselling
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
– Knowledge of student development theory and academic support resources
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
– Certification in counselling or related field is a plus

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
– 2+ years of experience in academic counselling
– Strong leadership and communication skills
– Certification in counselling or related field is a plus
