Job Overview:
Excellent Webworld is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of applications and infrastructure. The role involves working with CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Manage code repositories using Git
Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Support containerization using Docker
Assist in managing Kubernetes environments (basic level)
Monitor systems and applications using logging tools
Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues
Automate routine tasks using scripts (Bash/Python)
Collaborate with development and operations teams
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and practices
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Knowledge of Git and version control systems
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Understanding of Docker and containerization
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python)
Understanding of networking fundamentals
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
1–2 years of experience in DevOps or related field
Basic technical and analytical skills
