Job Overview
Huptech Web Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and applications while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
Build responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress CMS
Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability
Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress websites
Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and mobile responsive
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers
Maintain website security and perform regular updates
Manage and customize WooCommerce-based websites if required
Required Skills
Strong experience in WordPress development and customization
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Experience with custom theme and plugin development
Knowledge of WordPress REST API and third-party integrations
Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders
Strong understanding of MySQL database management
Experience with WooCommerce development
Knowledge of Git version control and deployment workflows
Understanding of website performance optimization and security practices
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
5–8 years of experience in WordPress development
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
