Title: Tally Developer
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tally Developer to customize, develop, and maintain Tally ERP/Prime solutions according to business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with accounting and finance teams to develop efficient Tally add-ons, reports, and integrations while ensuring statutory compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime solutions
Design and implement Tally add-ons using TDL (Tally Definition Language)
Customize vouchers, reports, screens, and menus as per business needs
Integrate Tally with third-party systems using XML, API, or ODBC
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, VAT, and other statutory requirements
Troubleshoot and debug Tally customizations and data issues
Manage data migration, backup, and synchronization processes
Implement security features including user roles and access control
Provide technical support and training to end users
Prepare technical documentation for developed solutions
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Accounting, or a related field
Tally Developer / TDL certifications are an advantage
Knowledge / Experience / Skills
Strong expertise in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
Proficiency in TDL (Tally Definition Language)
Good understanding of accounting concepts and business processes
Experience in Tally report and add-on development
Knowledge of GST and statutory compliance within Tally
Familiarity with databases, XML, and data integration
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and client-handling abilities
