Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts professional to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial records, and support compliance with statutory and internal financial requirements. The ideal candidate will handle accounting operations efficiently and contribute to smooth financial management of the organization.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers.
– Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
– Prepare and reconcile bank statements regularly.
– Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately.
– Maintain GST records and assist in GST returns filing.
– Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and compliance.
– Assist in preparation of trial balance, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets.
– Maintain MIS reports and support management with financial data.
– Coordinate with auditors during audits and provide required documentation.
– Monitor expenses and support cost control initiatives.
– Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data confidentiality.
– Support payroll processing and statutory compliance (basic level).
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
– 1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (freshers with strong knowledge can apply).
– Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
– Experience with GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
– Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / ERP preferred).
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
– Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
– Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications:
– B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
– Hands-on experience in accounting, billing, or audit support is an advantage.
– Experience in manufacturing or textile industry is a plus.
– Strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and ethical accounting practices.
