Title: Design Lead
Overview
We are seeking a creative and experienced Design Lead to drive the design vision and oversee the delivery of high-quality user experiences across digital products. The ideal candidate will lead design strategy, mentor designers, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to create user-centric, visually compelling solutions aligned with brand and business goals.
Role & Responsibilities
Lead and define the design strategy, vision, and standards across products
Oversee end-to-end UI/UX design for web and mobile applications
Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and brand consistency
Review and approve design deliverables including wireframes, prototypes, and final UI
Mentor, guide, and manage a team of designers
Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into design solutions
Conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation
Ensure accessibility, usability, and best design practices are followed
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
Track design impact using data, feedback, and performance metrics
Education / Certification
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, HCI, or a related field
UX/UI or design-related certifications are a plus
Knowledge / Experience / Skills
Strong expertise in UI/UX design principles and visual design
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
Experience building and maintaining design systems
Strong understanding of user research and usability testing
Experience working in Agile / product-driven environments
Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS) is an advantage
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
