Job Description: Data Analyst (0-4 years of experience)
Job Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing valuable insights to help drive business decisions. You will work with large datasets, perform statistical analysis, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
– Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns
– Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
– Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency
– Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
– Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
– Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
– Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)
– Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Proven experience as a Data Analyst or related role
