Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Level 1 Application Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to end users of various software applications. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
– Offer first-level technical support to end users for software applications.
– Identify and resolve technical issues reported by users.
– Document all support activities and solutions for future reference.
– Collaborate with L2 and L3 support teams to escalate complex issues.
– Conduct user training sessions to improve application usability.
– Assist in testing and implementation of software updates and patches.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in application support or helpdesk role.
– Strong understanding of software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and address issues promptly.
– Familiarity with ticketing systems and support tools.
– Knowledge of SQL queries and databases is a plus.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Certification in relevant software applications or ITIL is advantageous.
– 3 years of experience in a similar application support role.
