Job Title: Senior Linux Administrator

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator with at least 8 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and software.
2. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
3. Implement security measures to protect systems and data.
4. Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Shell or Python.
5. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
6. Ensure data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place.
7. Collaborate with other IT teams to deploy and upgrade systems.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
2. 8+ years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator.
3. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
4. Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or KVM.
5. Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl).
6. Solid understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
7. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
8. Relevant certifications such as RHCE or LPIC are a plus.
