As a Data Engineer with 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support data analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
Responsibilities:
– Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data.
– Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
– Optimizing data workflows for performance and efficiency.
– Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability.
– Documenting processes and workflows to maintain data pipeline transparency and accessibility.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
– Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
– Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
– Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
