Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Overview:
The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and tools. They work with different materials such as metal, plastic, or wood to create components for various industries.
Responsibilities:
– Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
– Set up and adjust CNC machines according to specifications
– Program machines using CAM software
– Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
– Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
– Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
Requirements and Skills:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Operator
– Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
– Knowledge of CAM software and G-code programming
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Familiarity with different materials and machining techniques
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Vocational training or certification in CNC machining
– Additional technical certifications a plus
