Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Store & Warehouse Department Head with 2-15 years of proven expertise in managing store and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of goods, and optimizing logistics processes within the department.
Responsibilities:
– Manage and supervise a team of storekeepers, warehouse staff, and logistics personnel.
– Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
– Implement efficient storage and organization systems to maximize warehouse space.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
– Coordinate logistics activities to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
– Conduct regular audits to assess inventory accuracy and compliance with safety regulations.
– Analyze data and generate reports on departmental performance.
– Implement cost-saving initiatives and streamline operations for improved efficiency.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
– Minimum of 10 years of experience in store and warehouse management.
– Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
