Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The ideal candidate should have a creative mind, attention to detail, and proficiency in video editing software.
Responsibilities:
– Edit video content according to project requirements.
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
– Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
– Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product.
– Review and make improvements to edited content.
– Collaborate with the team on video projects and deadlines.
Requirements skill:
– Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
– Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
– Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
– Knowledge of video codecs, compression techniques, and file delivery formats.
– Understanding of post-production process.
– Creative mind with an attention to detail.
– Time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field preferred.
– 1+ years of experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting.
