We are currently seeking for an experienced QA Manual Tester to join our dynamic team This is a full-time on-site role for a QA Manual Tester at XcelTec, located in Ahmedabad. As a QA Manual Tester, you will be responsible for the quality and reliability of our software products by identifying bugs and inconsistencies and ensuring adherence to specifications. The ideal candidate should have strong background in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing.
Responsibilities
• Perform manual testing for Web and Mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and deliver quality software solutions.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Participate in test planning and review meetings, providing feedback on test strategies and processes.
• Conduct thorough reviews of requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Execute test cases and bug report on test progress and results.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role
• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality
• Experience in test planning and test case design
• Knowledge of defect tracking systems
