Job Description

One of our client Versatile Commerce is a skilled developer with expertise in both fullstack development and Shopify customization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with front-end and back-end technologies, as well as Shopify theme development. You will work on developing web applications, customizing Shopify themes, and integrating third-party APIs. Your ability to create responsive, high-performance applications and streamline workflows through CI/CD pipelines will be essential. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing and server-side elements, driving project success with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using React.js for front-end and Node.js for back-end, while ensuring responsive UI design and seamless integration with RESTful APIs.
Customize and develop Shopify themes, utilizing Liquid code and Shopify JS APIs to implement tailored solutions for clients.
Optimize applications and Shopify sites for speed, scalability, and efficient resource usage, with a focus on performance metrics such as FCP, CLS, and LCP.
Work closely with UX/UI designers and cross-functional teams to create user-friendly interfaces and improve site performance across both custom web apps and Shopify stores.
Build and maintain server-side applications using frameworks like Node.js and Express.js, while integrating third-party apps (e.g., Algolia, Boost) into Shopify and web platforms.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support various functionalities, ensuring smooth communication between front-end and back-end systems.
Write clean, reusable, and testable code while participating in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration processes.
Implement caching, data storage strategies, and performance-enhancing techniques across both web applications and Shopify storefronts.
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end technical challenges, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adhering to performance budgets.
Utilize CI/CD frameworks and pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes for both fullstack web applications and Shopify projects.
Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive information across all platforms.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes and standards.

Required Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in React.js and Node.js development.
Expertise in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, SASS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with Express.js and SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in Shopify theme development, with knowledge of Liquid code and Shopify APIs.
Experience in Shopify Plus store development and API integration.
Hands-on experience with REST/GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and unit testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and teamwork abilities.
