Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Continental Chef – CDP Level to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of experience in preparing high-quality continental dishes and leading kitchen operations. The role will involve managing the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring consistent quality, and maintaining kitchen safety standards. The individual must have strong leadership skills and a deep passion for continental cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes, following recipes and maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Menu Planning: Collaborate with management to develop and update continental menus, ensuring creativity and seasonality in offerings.
Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food prep, cooking, and presentation.
Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Inventory & Stock Management: Manage kitchen inventory, place orders for necessary ingredients, and maintain accurate stock levels to prevent wastage.
Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, minimizing waste, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Health & Safety: Adhere to food safety standards and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment.
Customer Satisfaction: Focus on providing an exceptional culinary experience, responding to customer feedback, and adapting dishes based on requests or dietary requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Continental Chef at a CDP level with 8+ years in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
Strong knowledge of continental cuisine and modern cooking techniques.
Creative and innovative with the ability to develop new dishes and menu items.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Work Environment:
Shift Timings: 10 hours, with 4 weeks off per month.
The role is based in Lucknow, and accommodation and food will be provided as part of the benefits package.
