Job Overview
As a DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for optimizing the development, deployment, and operational processes within a software development team. Your role will focus on increasing efficiency by implementing automated tools, improving collaboration between teams, and ensuring the reliability and security of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
– Implement and maintain automation tools for building, testing, and deployment processes
– Collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure smooth integration of software applications
– Maintain and monitor cloud-based infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability
– Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build and deployment processes
– Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
– Continuously improve processes and tools to increase efficiency and quality
Requirements and Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role
– Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Chef
– Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell
– Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
– Solid understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related areas are a plus
