Job Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer with 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases. Your role involves automating and streamlining deployment processes, enhancing system performance, and ensuring high availability of systems and applications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting issues and implementing best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with development and operation teams to ensure smooth code releases.
– Automate and improve deployment processes.
– Monitor system performance and maintain system availability.
– Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
– Implement and maintain development tools for continuous integration and delivery.
– Make recommendations for system improvements and enhancements.
Requirements and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
– Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
– Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
– Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
– Certifications in relevant technologies like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Certified Administrator, or similar credentials are a plus.
